Energía Costa Azul will be developed based on strict environmental standards as determined by federal, state and local authorities in Mexico. To that end, a detailed study of the site was performed by the Scientific Research and Higher Learning Center of Ensenada (CICESE). We will continue to work with local environmental groups to undertake environmental mitigation programs to provide proper protection for the flora and fauna of the area. Indeed, a series of land reserves has already been designated for the mitigation programs, and protection activities have begun.
